2024 Hatch Africa Annual Impact Report
Hatch Africa is pleased to share our 2024 Annual Impact Report. With a team of 2,500 full time employees in 2024 we:
sold over 44 million dual-purpose chicks
to a network of 29,000 rural brooding agents
reaching an estimated 2.8 million smallholder farmers
Together with our agents and smallholder farmers we produced over 3.5 billion eggs going directly into rural communities across our six markets. The average agent sees a 48% ROI on every brooding cycle, and smallholder farmers earn an average profit of $9.38 per bird.
